SCURRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES LLC

Before you commit

Don’t sign anything from SCURRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES LLC(or any funeral home) before you’ve seen the General Price List in writing. Get the GPL, take it home, compare it with two other homes, ask questions about anything that’s unclear. The Funeral Rule forbids any funeral home from requiring an in-person visit just to get prices — phone and email work.

Also useful before you call:

• The FTC Funeral Rule guide — your seven federal rights at any funeral home, including the right to bring your own casket and decline embalming.
• Estimate funeral costs in Florida with our regional pricing calculator. Use the result as a sanity check against any quote SCURRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES LLC gives you.
• See other funeral homes in Florida — you’ll want at least three GPLs before you commit.
