Before you commit

Don’t sign anything from Huff - Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc.(or any funeral home) before you’ve seen the General Price List in writing. Get the GPL, take it home, compare it with two other homes, ask questions about anything that’s unclear. Also useful before you call:

• The FTC Funeral Rule guide — your seven federal rights at any funeral home, including the right to bring your own casket and decline embalming.
• Estimate funeral costs in Pennsylvania with our regional pricing calculator. Use the result as a sanity check against any quote Huff - Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. gives you.
• See other funeral homes in Pennsylvania — you’ll want at least three GPLs before you commit.
